Empowering Scholarly Bonds: A Pandemic-Driven Community Project
Throughout the challenges of the pandemic, I had the privilege of being part of a dedicated team that created an online community, fostering engagement in our scholarly lives. Leveraging platforms like Discord, Instagram, and email, we successfully connected with and engaged over 300 individuals while promoting 20 remote events.
Our efforts included hosting a range of speakers, workshops, and live design challenges that not only united students but also provided a valuable platform for social and professional development. I initially contributed to branding, and later took the lead in marketing. I crafted custom graphics and animations for our Instagram account, and handled video editing and posting on YouTube.
This collaborative and dedicated team, driven by a shared commitment to providing valuable resources for others, was one of the most gratifying design experiences I've had to date. It showcased the transformative potential of design to bring people together, even during the most challenging times.
